Beverly Broyles is originally from California and received her undergraduate degree in Art from San Jose State University. After spending time as a graphic designer and children’s book illustrator she returned to school to earn her Masters Degree in Art Education from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Following graduation she began working for the Knoxville Museum of Art as the Curator of Education and Director of Public Programs. From there she moved to Maine to become the Curator of Education at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport and then the Executive Director at the River Tree Center for the Arts in Kennebunk. She became the Executive Director of Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum and Gardens in 2007 but has since moved on to be the Director of Development and Communication for Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful. She recently was honored as a Rockford Park District Champion for her volunteer work with the Golf Engagement Committee. Beverly is an avid golfer and continues to enjoy
creating watercolor paintings. She has shown her work for four years at the Greenwich Village Art Fair and has participated in both the Fall and Spring Art Scene events. She is very proud to be a member of the Board of South West Ideas for Today and Tomorrow (SWIFTT).
